2016 Miracle League Fundraiser

The YMCA of Greater Charlotte and Miracle League have teamed up to give children with special needs a chance to play baseball through the YMCA Miracle League of Greater Charlotte.

Head Coach Jon Tuscan wanted to find a way for his baseball team to give back to the community. In his search for a way to do this, he found The Miracle League. His mother and father in-law were involved in the organization in Michigan. Further research led Coach Tuscan to learn that a new chapter of the Miracle League was forming in Charlotte at the University YMCA. The field had not yet been built, and the organizations were in fundraising mode. He contacted the organizations and South Meck's participation took off from there. The Miracle League players, staff and volunteers have become a special part of the South Meck Baseball family.
